OUR PROJECTS
OUR PROJECTS
Japan International CIESF Leaders Academy connects with other organizations and undertakes various projects to offer advanced and innovative education. Below are some examples of how we co-create education!
Surala is an educational service that provides AI-powered interactive digital learning materials, supporting personalized learning for each student. At our school, in cooperation with Surala Net Co., Ltd., we are developing a Khmer version of Surala. This initiative aims to enable Cambodian children to engage with mathematics lessons in their mother tongue. The learning content adjusts according to the child's comprehension level, making it easy to identify areas where they struggle and allowing them to learn from foundational concepts to advanced topics without difficulty.
In cooperation with Dainippon tosho Co.,Ltd , we are creating Khmer versions of Japanese "Mathematics" and "Science" digital textbooks. This will enable children studying at JIC to access high-quality science and math education in their mother tongue, and based on Japan's advanced curriculum, they will be able to deepen their logical thinking skills and scientific understanding.
We have introduced the Japanese language textbook "Marugoto: Japanese Language and Culture" into our "Exploring Japan" classes to foster basic Japanese communication skills and an understanding of Japanese culture. In collaboration with CJCC (Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center), we are promoting practical and research-based Japanese language education, and conducting joint research to enable inquiry-based Japanese learning. Additionally, many teachers participate in the "Japanese Language Education Skill Improvement Program" to deepen their knowledge of teaching methods, material utilization, and class management, aiming to create an educational environment where both teachers and learners can grow together.
Our school aims for "Education by Cambodians, for Cambodians, and of Cambodians," valuing learning that allows Cambodian children to take pride in their own culture and language. We are committed to strengthening education in the Khmer mother tongue and exploring traditions and customs through school events. Furthermore, we actively incorporate Khmer art training in collaboration with JHP (JAPAN TEAM OF YOUNG HUMAN POWER), and promote local book reading activities, working to establish identity and preserve culture.
